About this spot

A park developed along the riverside of the Ibaraki area, featuring a water plaza and spacious lawn that make it a popular spot for families. In summer, there are areas where you can enjoy water play and cool off by the waterside, perfect for spending a hot afternoon. The area is rich in greenery, and children can move freely in the area with play equipment. Refresh yourself here before heading to the fireworks venue.

Tips

About 15 minutes from Ibaraki Shrine by foot or bus. When playing in the water, it's convenient to have a change of clothes and towels. In summer, the sun is strong, so remember to hydrate regularly and take breaks.

Best time to visit

Takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Late afternoon is recommended as the sunlight becomes gentler and more comfortable.
