About this spot

This general sports park includes the athletics stadium that serves as tonight's fireworks venue, along with a spacious lawn plaza and various sports facilities. Shaded benches are also scattered around, so you can rest here and there during the hot hours. Getting used to the park's atmosphere in the afternoon also makes it easier to choose a spot for the evening viewing.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Kawaminami (道の駅かわみなみ). In summer, stay hydrated frequently as a precaution against heatstroke. On the day of the fireworks, people gradually start claiming spots from the afternoon onward.
