About this spot

This is a Kannon sacred site enshrined in Mieji, Mizuho City, that has long gathered local faith. This place, which once flourished as Mieji-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo, has calm grounds that let you feel its history. Putting your hands together in the quiet, unhurried atmosphere of the grounds brings a sense of peace as you feel the seasons shift from summer to autumn. At the start of your fireworks-day, visit and pray for your family's safety and happy memories.

Tips

Access by car from within Mizuho City is convenient. The grounds can be visited free of charge, and since they're located in a quiet residential area, please stay quiet while visiting.
