About this spot

This quiet beach spreads along the Sea of Japan in Kute-cho, Oda City. With shallow water and calm waves on most days, it offers a great setting for families to swim and explore tide pools. Since tonight's fireworks display is also held along this coastline, taking in the sea and the smell of the tide during the day will help you picture the evening's events more vividly. The clear blue sea and sky unique to the Sea of Japan create a refreshing contrast to enjoy.

Within walking distance of the venue area. The summer sun is strong, so don't forget sun protection and something to drink. If you plan to swim, check whether lifeguards are present and the tide conditions.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes needed. It's recommended to visit from morning through early afternoon, when sea conditions tend to be calm.
