A national government-operated park boasting one of the largest areas in the Chūgoku region, offering vast lawns, large athletic playground equipment, and seasonal flower fields. The park's undulating terrain, taking advantage of the hilly topography, provides ample opportunities for children to play freely in nature. During summer, there are also water play areas where you can enjoy yourself comfortably even on hot days. Before the fireworks display, charge up your family's energy here first.

荒天時の開催可否は庄原市や主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。山あいは夜になると気温が下がるので、防寒対策も忘れずに。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from JR Bingo-Shobara Station (JR備後庄原駅). Since the park is vast, wear comfortable clothes and easy-to-walk shoes. Summer sun is strong, so don't forget sunscreen and hydration.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes required. Late morning to early afternoon is a relatively comfortable time.
