Held along the clear waters of the Toyokawa River, the Shinshiro Summer Fireworks Festival is a summer tradition long loved by locals, with about 2,000 fireworks shells echoing through the gorge as they color the night sky. Looking up at the fireworks with the suspension bridge and promenade you walked earlier below and the river breeze on your face makes for an especially memorable moment.
