About this spot
An observation deck at the summit of Zao Mountain, which rises near the center of the Atsumi Peninsula. From the observation tower, you can see the colorful rural landscape of the peninsula, the distant Mikawa Bay, and even the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, the expansive views are surprising. Since you can drive nearly to the mountain summit, it's an accessible tourist spot for families. Looking at the entire area you'll visit later from above will make your day's itinerary even more enjoyable.

会場周辺は当日大変混雑するため、早めに到着して場所を確保するのがおすすめです。荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。10月の夜は冷え込むことがあるので、羽織ものを忘れずに。

About 10 minutes by car from Tahara City Museum. There are short stairs to the observation deck, but they're easily manageable. On windy days, a jacket is helpful.
Best time to visit
