The fireworks launched from the Kuma River riverbed around Nakagawara Park color the night sky while reflecting on the surface of the Kuma River. The Furusato History Plaza at Hitoyoshi Castle Ruins is recommended as a viewing spot. A fitting close to a day spent feeling the history of the castle town, this fireworks festival, where local people gather, has long been cherished as a signature event of Hitoyoshi's summer.
