About this spot

An historic shrine enshrined in Oigami-machi, Hitoyoshi City, handed down together with local legends. The grounds are surrounded by trees and wrapped in a quiet atmosphere, offering a place to catch your breath amid a busy day. Its shrine building architecture, a National Important Cultural Property, is also one of the highlights, letting you encounter the history and faith of the Kuma region. Although a bit of a detour from Taragi Town, it is a recommended stop to settle your mind before the evening summer festival.

Tips

Accessible by car from Taragi Ebisu Products Center. Visiting is free of charge. Next, head back to central Taragi Town for dinner.

About 1 hour. A calm time in the late afternoon, before evening, is recommended for a visit.
