A lake of mixed fresh and brackish water spreading at the base of the Noto Peninsula, known for the arrival of many water birds, including migratory birds. The lakeside is quiet, and you can spend a leisurely time gazing at the water's surface swaying in the breeze. After spending time enjoying the lively seaside drive, here you can experience the opposite—a relaxed and tranquil time. It's a perfect stop for an afternoon break before the fireworks.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Senrihama Nagisa Driveway. Binoculars will make bird watching more enjoyable. As sunset approaches, the temperature begins to drop, so it's reassuring to have a jacket ready from this time onward. The next shopping street is about 15 minutes by car.

Best time to visit

Approximately 45 minutes required. The calm water surface before evening is especially beautiful at this time.
