This is a summer tradition rooted deeply in the local community, held at Benten Ryokuchi Park, which spreads along the banks of the Kuzuryu River beside Katsuyama Bridge. Colorful fireworks launch one after another over the night sky of Katsuyama, known as the town of dinosaurs. Set in a mountain basin, Katsuyama offers a clear night sky that makes the fireworks' beauty shine all the more. Look up at the night sky with your family to close out a day spent exploring dinosaurs and history.
