About this spot

This is the Miyako store of Keichiku Megumi-no-Sato (京築恵みの郷), a farm produce market run by JA Fukuoka Keichiku. The store carries produce brought in fresh by local farmers, drawing more than 1,000 visitors a day not only from the local district but also from neighboring Tagawa District and Kitakyushu City. Since the area around the venue gets crowded on the evening of the summer festival, it's reassuring to pick up local ingredients and regional flavors here and finish a relaxed dinner beforehand. Build anticipation for the evening fireworks with tastes that have long been loved by the local community.

About a 10-minute drive from Sun Great Miyako. Convenience stores and stalls around the venue tend to be crowded and often sell out on the night of the event, so it's recommended to get your food during this time. It's about a 10-minute drive to the venue.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour and 45 minutes. Around 5:00 pm, before the crowds build up, is an easy time to visit.
