About this spot

This complex stands in front of JR Nihonmatsu Station and brings together functions for industrial tourism, arts and culture, and lifelong learning to help energize the city center. The 1st floor has a grassy event plaza and tenant booths, the 2nd floor has a music studio and children's plaza, and the 3rd floor houses an art museum with works by Oyama Chusaku, a Japanese-style painter born in Nihonmatsu, along with an observation lounge. Local eateries rooted in the community are scattered around the surrounding city center, and since the area around the festival venue gets crowded on the night of the event, it's reassuring to have a relaxed dinner here beforehand.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Adachi. Convenience stores and stalls around the venue tend to be crowded and often sell out on the night of the event, so it's recommended to get your food during this time. It's about a 10-minute drive to the venue.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours. Around 5:00 pm, before the crowds build up, is an easy time to visit.
