The Iwaki Yotsukura Fireworks Festival, held on August 22, 2026 (Saturday) starting at 7 PM, illuminates the seaside of Yotsukura Town. Approximately 1,000 fireworks launch into the night sky one after another, and the sound of explosions blending with the sound of waves creates an immersive experience unique to a seaside setting. Watching the fireworks from a beach towel amid the festive food stall scene creates a perfect summer memory. With the open beachfront venue, you can enjoy the fireworks well from any position. The grand finale of rapid-fire explosions filling the night sky is the climax of your day.

Tips

In case of bad weather, the event may be canceled or postponed, so check the organizers' announcement on the day for confirmation. After the fireworks end, the surrounding roads become congested, so it's recommended to enjoy the afterglow a bit before heading home. The area gets dark, so having a smartphone light or small flashlight is helpful.
