About this spot
One of the central stations in the Ani area served by the Akita Inland Vertical Railway. Old-fashioned shops are scattered around the station, allowing you to leisurely stroll while experiencing the atmosphere of mountain valley town life. If the timing is right, you can also catch glimpses of local train passing through, a spot that children interested in railways will enjoy.

2026年8月16日(日)19時15分から開催される、通算64回を数える伝統ある祭りです。阿仁川の河川公園から花火が夜空に打ち上がるのと同時に、川面には灯籠が静かに流されていき、光と音が織りなす幻想的な光景が広がります。山あいの静かな環境だからこそ味わえる、花火と灯籠流しが同時に楽しめる特別な夜です。フィナーレの余韻とともに、川面に浮かぶ灯りをゆっくり見送りましょう。

荒天時の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認しましょう。終了後は山間部の道路が混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いので、スマホのライトや懐中電灯があると安心です。

About 10 minutes by car from Ani Densho-kan. Train frequency is limited, so checking the timetable in advance helps you see the train passing more clearly. In summer, the midday sun is strong, so a hat is recommended.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes required. The late afternoon period is easier to walk around.
