About this spot

An interactive museum dedicated to fragrances located just next to Fu-Hachimangu. In addition to displays of perfume bottles and fragrance tools from around the world, there are corners where you can actually smell different fragrances and enjoy new discoveries for both children and adults. Being able to spend hot summer hours indoors is also a nice bonus. Visiting along with your historical tour allows you to experience a different facet of Iwata.

2026年8月22日(土)開催、磐田の夏を締めくくるいわた夏まつり花火大会のクライマックスです。今之浦周辺の夜空に次々と打ち上がる花火は、夏祭りの盆踊りや屋台のにぎわいとともに楽しめるのが魅力。ジュビロ磐田のホームタウンらしく、地域一体となって盛り上がる祭りの締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。買い物や歴史散策から始まった1日の締めくくりに、家族で見上げましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は磐田市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駅周辺や道路が大変混雑するため、余韻を楽しんでから時間差での退場がおすすめです。

Tips

About a 5-minute walk from Fu-Hachimangu. Spending about an hour leisurely viewing the exhibits is sufficient. During summer vacation, family experience corners may get crowded.
