Located in Ohama, Takuma-cho, Mitoyo City, this Class 1 fishing port is managed by the city. Facing the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea, it supports the local fishing industry. Since tonight's fireworks don't start until the relatively late hour of 8:30 PM, you can spend this time leisurely enjoying food from the stalls. As the sun sets and lights begin to glow around the harbor, the festival atmosphere builds.

Tips

Within walking distance of the Awashima Maritime Memorial Museum. Traffic restrictions may be in place in some areas on the day, so it's a good idea to check Mitoyo City's official information in advance. Since the show starts late, having a space where small children can nap is reassuring.
