A sloping street descending from the Ijinkan area to central Sannomiya, lined with tasteful shops characteristic of Kobe. This area developed from where foreign shops once concentrated, now featuring pastry shops and select boutiques. Walking this route while heading toward Nankinmachi allows you to enjoy the changing atmosphere of the streetscape.
Tips
Within walking distance from Kitano Ijinkan Street. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended due to the slopes. In summer, some sections lack shade, so take breaks as needed.
