Unlike the bustle of the temple grounds, the charm of walking quiet trails surrounded by trees and feeling cool refreshment is captivating. A calligraphy museum is also located on the grounds, making it a perfect place to spend leisurely time combined with your temple visit.

成田山新勝寺の門前で営まれる「成田山みたま祭り盆踊り大会」の会場です。2026年は8月23日から24日までの2日間、18時30分から成田山弘恵会田町駐車場を舞台に開かれ、太鼓のリズムに合わせて浴衣姿の踊り手たちが輪になって踊ります。門前町として発展してきたまちならではの、地域の人々が集う温かい雰囲気が魅力の夏祭りです。境内めぐりや牧場、表参道での食事を楽しんだ1日の締めくくりに、家族で踊りの輪に加わってみましょう。

Tips

会場周辺は表参道からも近く、夜は多くの人でにぎわいます。ベビーカーでの移動は通路の広い場所を選びましょう。夜は気温が下がることがあるので羽織ものがあると安心です。
