Japan's first national park, opened in 1974, this vast forest park features straight poplar tree-lined paths as one of its signature landscapes. The park has cycling courses available, allowing visitors to rent bicycles and explore the wide grounds. Since the evening summer festival is also within the same park, moving between locations is convenient.

国営武蔵丘陵森林公園の西口エリアを会場に、2026年は8月8日・9日の2日間にわたって開催される夏祭りです。西口エリアには屋台や縁日コーナーが立ち並び、17時以降はこのエリアに限定して営業が続きます。夜になると盆踊りの輪が広がり、木々に囲まれた広場ならではの落ち着いた雰囲気の中で夏祭りの熱気を楽しめます。都市部の祭りとは一味違う、緑豊かな環境の中での夏祭り体験ができるのが魅力です。

Tips

17時以降は西口エリアのみの営業となるため、他のエリアからは早めに移動しておきましょう。夜の森は虫が多いことがあるため、虫よけを持参すると安心です。帰りの駐車場や公共交通機関の混雑にも注意しましょう。
