An Awa Odori dance festival held around Minami-Koshigaya and Shin-Koshigaya Stations, one of the largest of its kind in the Kanto region, running for three days from August 21-23 in 2026. Food stalls also line the Furusato Plaza within the venue, adding to the festival mood. To the spirited chant of Yattosa, Yattoyatto, groups of dancers in matching costumes pass by one after another, and the streets are filled with the audience's excitement. The charm of this festival is being able to easily enjoy dancing as authentic as that of Tokushima, the birthplace of Awa Odori, right in the Tokyo suburbs.
