About this spot
A gentle hill with an elevation of about 150 meters overlooking Asuka. From the observation platform, you can see the countryside dotted with Asuka-dera and Ishibutai Kofun, as well as the three sacred Yamato mountains (Unebi, Mimina, and Amakagu), capturing the views that ancient capital residents once saw. Walking trails have been developed partway up the hill, allowing families to enjoy casual hiking.

公園内は広いため、出店エリアの位置を事前に確認しておくとスムーズです。夜は虫が多くなることがあるため、虫よけがあると安心です。周辺道路は駐車場が限られるため、時間に余裕を持って向かいましょう。

Accessible from Asuka-dera by foot or bicycle. The path to the summit features a gentle uphill slope, so wear comfortable walking shoes. There are few shaded areas, so a hat is recommended during summer.
