A museum introducing the history of Obanazawa, where Matsuo Basho stayed for over 10 days during his 'Oku no Hosomichi' travels. The museum displays items connected to Basho and the wealthy merchant Seifū Suzuki who hosted him, as well as exhibits about the haiku culture of the time.
