Yumura Hot Spring District, with a history of approximately 1,300 years, is a calm hot spring area near Kofu city center. There are public foot baths throughout the area that you can easily stop at to ease fatigue from sightseeing. While enjoying the steamy atmosphere typical of a hot spring district, you can take a well-deserved break before the main festival event.

和泉愛児園あいあい広場を会場に、地域の人たちが中心となって開く夏まつりです。会場には屋台が並び、夕方から夜にかけて多くの家族連れでにぎわいます。地域に根づいたまつりならではの、温かく親しみやすい雰囲気が魅力です。屋台の食べ歩きを楽しみながら、湯村の一日の締めくくりにふさわしいひとときを過ごせます。

Tips

会場周辺は夕方から混み合うため、車で訪れる場合は駐車スペースを事前に確認しておくと安心です。屋台での買い物には小銭を多めに用意しておきましょう。

About a 10-minute drive from the museum. If using the foot bath, it's convenient to bring a towel. It's about 10 minutes by car to the festival venue.
