Momotaro Ohdori, stretching east from Okayama Station, is a spacious boulevard developed as Okayama's gateway. The station plaza features a statue inspired by the Momotaro legend and serves as a popular photography spot. While various locations throughout the city come alive during the festival period, start by feeling the atmosphere of Okayama's city character along this boulevard.

岡山に伝わる鬼の伝説「温羅(うら)」をモチーフに、下石井公園をはじめとした市内各所を会場に繰り広げられる総踊りのまつりです。第31回を迎える2026年も、鮮やかな衣装をまとった踊り連が趣向を凝らした踊りと音楽で、夏の岡山を熱く盛り上げます。会場ごとに異なる演舞を見比べながら市内各所を巡るのも、このまつりならではの楽しみ方です。
Tips
会場は市内各所に分かれているため、事前にどの会場を回るか大まかなルートを決めておくとスムーズです。混雑する場所もあるため、ベビーカーでの移動は人の流れに注意しましょう。屋台での買い物には小銭を多めに用意しておくと便利です。

Just a short walk from Okayama Station. The boulevard is open and gets strong sunlight in summer, so bring a hat and beverages.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes. Early afternoon is relatively calm and pleasant for a leisurely walk.
