世界遺産の島・宮島で毎年夏に催される盆踊りの夕べです。嚴島神社の参道から大聖院浜にかけての一帯に提灯が灯され、地元の人々や観光客が一緒になって輪を作って踊ります。昼間は多くの参拝客で賑わう参道も、夜になると太鼓の音とゆったりとした盆踊りの調べに包まれ、普段とは違う静かで幻想的な表情を見せます。海沿いの涼しい風を感じながら踊る夏の夜は、宮島ならではの特別なひとときです。

About 15 minutes on foot from Miyaji Pier. The facility has a barrier-free design that is easy to use with strollers. Popular times can have queues for entry, so early morning is recommended.
