This Seto Inland Sea beach, known for calm waves and gently sloping sandy bottom, is perfect for families with small children. The clear water reveals small fish, and you can spot families enjoying snorkeling. As evening approaches, the western sun illuminates the sea surface, revealing a calm beauty different from daytime. Located on the opposite side of the island from Ōgushi Beach where the fireworks occur, yet close enough to reach by car, allowing you to experience two distinct faces of the island's waters—a highlight of this course.

大崎上島の夏を締めくくる恒例のイベントで、大串海水浴場・大串キャンプ場を舞台に開催されます。目玉は20時から20時20分までのわずか20分間に凝縮された花火の打ち上げ。海に面した砂浜や芝生の広場から、夜空に開く花火をゆったりと眺められるのが島の祭りならではの魅力です。短い時間だからこそ、家族で見逃さないよう早めに場所を確保しておくのがおすすめです。島の夏の一日を締めくくるにふさわしい、静かで美しいフィナーレです。
Tips
花火は20分間と短いため、開始時刻の30分前には場所を確保しておくと安心です。夜間は足元が暗くなるので懐中電灯があると便利です。キャンプ場利用者以外も見学できますが、駐車スペースには限りがあります。
Tips
Check in advance whether changing rooms and showers are available. The sun is strong, so don't forget sunscreen and a hat. Watch the time and finish swimming early enough to prepare for your next destination.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Late afternoon when the sun is gentler is the most comfortable time for swimming.
