About this spot

This white-sand beach lies within a bay off Nakanohana Point and is known for its gentle waves. On clear days you can see Mt. Ishizuchi in the Shikoku mountain range, and the beach is equipped with showers, changing rooms, and a rest area. It is located on the opposite side of the island from Ozushi Beach, where the fireworks display takes place, but the two are within an easy drive of each other, and enjoying two different faces of the island's sea is part of what makes this course appealing.

Tips

It is reassuring to confirm in advance whether changing rooms and showers are available. The sun is strong, so do not forget sunscreen and a hat. Be mindful of swimming hours and wrap up in good time to prepare for the next stop.
