Dinner at "Shachi Shokudo" and enjoying the illuminated castle keep on a summer evening
About this spot
The Nagoya Castle Summer Festival, held annually at Nagoya Castle, Nagoya's symbol, runs from August 8 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday) in 2026. This course visits on opening day. A dining area called "Shachi Shokudo" is set up within the venue where you can enjoy dinner while spending the evening in the castle. As night falls, the castle keep is illuminated, and the golden shachi float ethereal against the night sky. Experience the nighttime face of Nagoya Castle, distinct from the buildings, shrines, and gardens you visited during the day, with your family.
