Hilltop Shrine Known for the "Success Stone Steps" in the City Center

A shrine nestled atop a small hill in the heart of the city, famous for its steep front stone steps known as the "Success Stone Steps." According to Edo-period legend, a samurai rode his horse up these steps, and those who reach the top are said to enjoy blessings of business prosperity and career advancement. The shrine grounds are surrounded by trees and offer a peaceful atmosphere remarkably removed from urban surroundings. The sense of accomplishment from reaching the top and the view of the area below add to its appeal.

2026年の麻布台ヒルズ納涼祭りは8月8日から11日までの4日間、複合施設内の中央広場を舞台に開催されます。新しく生まれ変わった街のシンボルともいえる広場に提灯が並び、浴衣姿の家族連れや地元の人々が集う夏祭りの会場へと姿を変えます。初日となる8日は、日中に愛宕神社や東京タワーなど港区の見どころを巡ってきた一日の締めくくりにふさわしい、新旧の東京が交わる夏の夜を楽しめます。

Tips

会場周辺は夕方以降混雑します。地下鉄神谷町駅・虎ノ門ヒルズ駅から徒歩圏内でアクセスできます。夜は冷房の効いた屋内施設との気温差があるので、羽織るものがあると安心です。
