「お多賀さん」の愛称で親しまれ、延命長寿・縁結びの神様として知られる多賀大社で、毎年8月に行われる夏の一大行事です。2026年は8月3日から5日までの3日間、19時から21時30分にかけて開催予定。境内一面に無数の提灯が灯され、普段は静かな古社の境内が幻想的な光の空間に変わります。近江の人々に長く愛されてきた古社が、夜に見せる特別な表情を体感できる貴重な機会です。

Tips

期間中は多くの参拝客で賑わうため、周辺道路の混雑と駐車場の確保に余裕を持って行動しましょう。夜の境内は足元が暗い箇所もあるため、懐中電灯があると安心です。

Tips

Approximately 20 minutes by car from Hikone Castle. Hands-on corners can get crowded; visiting earlier in the afternoon is recommended. The air-conditioned interior offers a refreshing summer retreat.
