A super-high-rise landmark building in Minato Mirai, where the upper-floor observation deck offers sweeping views of Yokohama Port, the Bay Bridge, and Mount Fuji on clear days. Viewing Minato Mirai from high above at the start of your day helps you grasp the full picture of the area you'll walk through. The lower floors of the building also have shopping and restaurant areas, convenient for a break on hot days. It's the perfect introductory spot to feel the scale of port city Yokohama.

横浜港とベイブリッジを望む開放的な芝生広場・臨港パークで、8月28日・29日の2日間、16時30分から20時30分まで行われる夏恒例の盆踊りです。会場中央に組まれた櫓を囲んで、地元の人々や観光客が入り混じり大きな輪を作って踊る光景は、都会的なみなとみらいの街並みとは対照的な、どこか懐かしい夏祭りの空気を運んできます。日が傾くにつれて海風が心地よくなり、輪の熱気と潮の香りが混ざり合う独特の雰囲気を楽しめます。踊りが苦手な子どもも、輪の外から太鼓の音に合わせて過ごすだけで十分に祭り気分を味わえます。
Tips
会場は広い芝生広場のため、レジャーシートがあると休憩に便利です。海沿いのため夕方以降は風が出て涼しく感じることもあるので、羽織るものがあると安心です。荒天時の開催可否は主催者の発表を確認しましょう。

Within walking distance from Minato Mirai Station or Sakuragi-cho Station. Admission to the observation floor is charged. Summer vacation periods can get crowded, so morning or early afternoon is recommended.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. Morning through early afternoon, when the air is clear, is best for distant views.
