A quiet stretch of the Shonan coastline that is well loved by locals. In the morning there are still few visitors, so you can stroll leisurely along the water's edge while enjoying the cool sea breeze. The open view toward Enoshima in the distance gives a refreshing start to the day. Even without swimming, simply walking on the sand lets you take in a genuine Shonan summer atmosphere, making this an easy spot to stop by.

Tips

Within walking distance of Kugenuma-kaigan Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line. The morning sun is still mild, but it is best to apply sunscreen early.
