鵠沼の鎮守として地域に親しまれる皇大神宮で、8月17日の午後に行われる「人形山車」の行事です。氏子や地域の人々が受け継いできた人形飾りの山車が境内に飾られ、藤沢の下町らしい落ち着いた夏の伝統行事の空気を感じられます。夜通し賑わう大規模な祭りとは違い、家族でゆったりと見学できる規模感も魅力です。境内の木々が日差しをやわらげてくれるので、真夏の昼下がりでも比較的過ごしやすく参拝できます。
Tips
境内はそれほど広くないため、混雑時は見学の順番に配慮しましょう。真夏の昼過ぎは日差しが強いため、水分補給をこまめに。行事の詳しい進行時間は当日の掲示や地域の案内で確認するのが確実です。

Kugenuma Kogaidaijingu is accessible by walking or bus. To arrive in time for the 2 PM event, finish lunch by around 1 PM.
