鹿角市花輪、鹿角花輪駅周辺を会場に、2026年8月7日(金)・8日(土)の2日間開かれる伝統行事です。台形の笠山を乗せた独特の姿の「花輪ねぷた」が、哀調を帯びた「大工町囃子」の音色に合わせて街を練り歩きます。夜になると灯籠に灯がともり、幻想的な明かりが駅前通りを照らし出します。国の重要無形民俗文化財にも指定されている由緒ある祭りで、日中に神社や資料館をめぐって鹿角の歴史にふれた1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、迫力ある行事です。

Tips

会場周辺は交通規制がかかる区間があるため、公共交通機関か周辺の駐車場を利用しましょう。夜は山あいのため冷え込むこともあるので、羽織ものがあると安心です。
