This shrine is located in the Ichiichiichi district of Hachirogata Town and has long been deeply connected to the local festivals and traditions of this area. Ichiichiichi has a history dating back to the Edo period as a merchant town, and the Bon Odori dance tradition is said to be one of the customs that developed within the community's daily life. The quiet shrine grounds offer a peaceful retreat from the summer sun, making it an ideal place to reflect on the heritage of this area before experiencing the evening Bon Odori.

Tips

The shrine has parking available, though the number of spaces is limited. The pathway has some natural ground surfaces, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

Best time to visit

Approximately 40 minutes. Early afternoon is relatively quiet for paying respects.
