About this spot

Located in Araya-shiki, Hanawa, Kazuno City, this park is cherished alongside the nearby Sakurayama Gokoku Shrine. Known as one of the city's best cherry-blossom viewing spots with over 200 trees, it also has playground equipment, making it an easy place to spend time even with children. Surrounded by trees, the quiet setting offers shelter from the sun and a moment to rest. Spending a relaxed morning here makes the evening's town walk all the more enjoyable.

Tips

Located in the Hanawa area, about a 15-minute walk from JR Kazuno-Hanawa Station; wear comfortable shoes, as there are slopes along the way. Since the Kemanai area, where the evening's Bon Odori venue is located, is about 20 km away, traveling by car is assumed. Parking is limited, so it is a good idea to check nearby temporary parking information in advance during the festival period.

Best time to visit

About 50 minutes. Best explored in the late morning to early afternoon, before the sun gets too strong
