A renowned Itako temple known as the 'Hydrangea Temple,' where thousands of hydrangeas color the grounds in early summer. Past flower season, the temple's pathways and quiet grounds, wrapped in deep summer green, are an ideal place to spend peaceful time during your waterside tour. The grounds rise gently along a hillside, offering views of surrounding verdure and the natural richness of Itako.
Tips
Best reached by car from Chosho-ji Temple. The grounds have uneven terrain; wear comfortable walking shoes. Summer insect repellent is recommended.

Approximately 45 minutes. Afternoon when sunlight softens is ideal for walking.
