This roadside station in Ugo features a direct sales shop with fresh local agricultural products and specialty items inspired by the Bon Odori's haniui costumes. It also functions as a tourist information center where you can gather information about Nishi Maone Bon Odori and other regional attractions. After refreshing at the hot spring, it's a convenient place to rest and also to stock up on drinks and light snacks before heading to the evening venue.

2026年の西馬音内盆踊りは8月16日(日)から18日(火)まで、羽後町中心部を会場に開催されます。阿波おどり、郡上おどりと並んで日本三大盆踊りのひとつに数えられ、国の重要無形民俗文化財にも指定されている由緒ある盆踊りです。編み笠や彦三頭巾で顔を隠した踊り手たちが、かがり火に照らされながら流れるように舞う姿は、他の盆踊りとは一線を画す幽玄な美しさで知られています。日中に会館や道の駅うご端縫いの郷で羽後町の魅力にふれた1日の締めくくりに、この地に700年近く受け継がれてきた踊りをじっくり味わいましょう。

Tips

会場周辺は交通規制がかかり、駐車場も早い時間から混み合います。夜は屋外での立ち見が長くなるため、羽織ものと歩きやすい靴が安心です。荒天時の実施可否は事前に確認しましょう。
