Chapu-Chapu Pond in Kobe Sports Park is a free water-play area in Midoridai, Suma Ward. In 2026 it operates from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, from 8:45 to 17:30 (closed all day on some dates for cleaning). The shallow, well-maintained water is built so that even small children can play safely, and because the whole park sits in a green setting, shade is easy to find. It is the signature water-play spot of the Suma area, where local families drop in casually.
