This comprehensive sports park brings together an athletics stadium, a baseball ground and other facilities including Funabashi Arena. It has wide lawns and is just the right size for a little exercise and play before getting in the pool. The short distance and the fact that you can head straight to the pool afterwards are welcome points for families. There is plenty of shade too, so it is a comfortable place even under the summer sun.
Tips
There are few shops, so preparing drinks and snacks in advance is reassuring. Moving your body a little before the pool makes the afternoon water play even more enjoyable.
