The Kujukuri Sardine Museum is an exhibition facility introducing the history of sardine fishing, long a mainstay of Kujukuri Beach. Displays include fishing boats and gear of the period and scenes of beach-seine fishing, giving you a way into understanding how the Kujukuri Beach you are about to swim at came to be. The building is compact and rewarding even in a short visit, which is a distinctive feature. Learning the background of the area together as a family before sea bathing makes the day all the more memorable.
