About this spot

This is an agriculture-themed park spreading along the Toda River in Minato Ward, Nagoya City. It includes the Agricultural Science Museum (農業科学館), which displays farm tools and insect specimens; the Flower Center (フラワーセンター) with its row of four greenhouses; and the 'Rainbow Farm of Flowers and Vegetables' (花と野菜のにじ色農場), where flower seedlings and vegetables are grown, along with an experiential rice paddy and vegetable garden. There is also a lawn plaza and a flower hill, making it a perfect place to get active before water play. Though it's a nearby outing, it's a spot filled with greenery and discovery.

Tips

Just a short walk from Todagawa Kodomo Land (とだがわこどもランド). Admission is free, and the flat grounds are easy to navigate even with a stroller. It's reassuring to check the operating hours of the animal-encounter corner in advance.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes needed. The morning, before the sun gets strong, is comfortable.
