About this spot

meito Kodomo Land Todagawa (meitoこどもランド・とだがわ) Pukupukutai Pond (ぷくぷくたい池) is a free water-play area inside Todagawa Kodomo Land (とだがわこどもランド) in Minato Ward, Nagoya City. In 2026 it opens on Friday, May 15, and can be enjoyed from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until late September. Since it centers on a shallow water plaza, even small children who can't yet swim can safely enjoy the water. Playground equipment and a lawn plaza also spread out around the area, so it's a good idea to take a walk around the park if you tire of water play. It's a popular spot with families that you can easily drop by as a neighborhood outing.

Tips

Admission is free, but it's reassuring to check crowd levels and facility details on Nagoya City's official information in advance. Even though the water is shallow, keep a close eye on children, and laying out a leisure sheet to secure a rest area will make things more comfortable. Bring extra towels, since you'll likely need to change clothes more than once.

Best time to visit

Entering from around 1 p.m. means steadier sunlight, letting you enjoy water play comfortably until evening.
