The Children's Plaza Water Area (こどものひろば 水エリア) at Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, Moricoro Park (愛・地球博記念公園), is a free water-play area reopening on Wednesday 29 July 2026 after renovation work. It normally operates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with shallow water channels and a water plaza laid out across spacious grounds. It is built so that even small children can play safely, and the appeal is being able to spend a full day here together with the surrounding lawn areas and play-equipment zones. In a green park in Nagakute, it is the climax of a day for making summer memories as a whole family.

Tips

Crowds are expected right after the reopening, so visiting early in the afternoon lets you enjoy it more comfortably. Even though the water is shallow, do not take your eyes off the children, and laying out a picnic sheet to secure a rest space makes the visit more comfortable. Move with time to spare so you can wrap up by the 4 p.m. closing time.
