This is a direct-sales farm shop run by JA Akigawa, located in Takao, Akiruno City. The shop, featuring large round windows designed to resemble birdcages, is stocked with freshly picked vegetables grown by local farmers. Alongside 'Norabouna' (のらぼう菜), a specialty vegetable of the Itsukaichi area, you'll also find local eggs, tofu, fried tofu, cut flowers, and Akigawa Valley specialties like oyaki dumplings and handmade bread — making it a great spot for morning shopping or finding a snack. The parking lot is spacious, making it easy to stop by on your way to the valley.

Tips

It's conveniently located along the route to the Akigawa Valley. Mornings tend to be relatively quiet, so you can browse the shop at a relaxed pace. Picking up drinks and snacks here will come in handy for the river play later.
