About this spot

Bios Hill is a subtropical botanical garden spread across hilly land near Nago City. On the lake in the grounds you can ride a water-buffalo cart or a small boat and take in the scenery at an easy pace, spending relaxed, distinctly Okinawan time amid lush nature. Walking paths are laid out as well, so you can also go around on foot admiring flowers and plants. It is a spot for touching nature while conserving energy before the water obstacle course.

Tips

The water-buffalo carts and boats run on a limited schedule, so checking the times as soon as you arrive keeps things smooth. The grounds are uneven, so visit in comfortable shoes. There are roofed rest areas too, so you can catch your breath even in the hot hours.

About 1 hour 20 minutes. The morning, before the sun grows strong, is the most comfortable
