The Sea Athletic at Sea Park Chatan, adjoining American Village in Chatan Town, is the only water obstacle course in Okinawa that can be enjoyed year-round. It runs in 50-minute sessions on a changeover basis, and whatever the season you can play on floating bridges, trampolines and other obstacle equipment out on the water. Play is based on wearing a life jacket, so even children who are not confident swimmers can take it on alongside a guardian. It offers active water play with a flavor different from sea bathing, concentrated into 50 focused minutes.
