Enjoy river play in the clear shallows of the mountain stream until evening
About this spot
Yatarou Campground and Kiyokawa Riverland is a river-play spot spreading along the Hayatogawa and Yatarougawa rivers that flow through Kiyokawa Village in Aiko District. It operates in summer, and because exact opening days and hours can change, enquiring before your visit is recommended. The water flowing from the Tanzawa foothills is clear, and if you choose the shallows even small children can get comfortable with water safely. The surroundings are a nature-rich area also used as a campground, where you can take in the air of a tree-lined ravine.

Tips

Best time to visit
Around 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., when the sun is strong, the water feels pleasant and is easiest to play in
