About this spot
A large park not far from the Yokohama International Pool, where satoyama countryside scenery remains. The adventure playground is lined with large climbing structures where children can really move about. The grounds also include rice fields and a small stream, so you can feel nature while still in the city. It is just the right size for a warm-up before the pool, and simply running around the grassy hill delights children. On fine days, an unhurried walk along the paths is recommended too.

横浜市都筑区にある横浜国際プールの屋内サブプールは、通年利用できる屋内温水プールです。天候に左右されずに一年を通して泳げるため、雨の日や真夏の強い日差しを避けたい日にも心強い存在です。屋内なので水温も管理されており、小さな子どもから大人まで無理なく楽しめます。午後からゆったり入水し、泳ぐだけでなく水に浮いて遊ぶだけでも十分にリフレッシュできる時間になります。

利用料金や更衣室の設備、貸し出し品の有無は公式サイトで事前に確認しておくと安心です。混雑しやすい週末の午後は、コースロープで区切られた遊泳エリアのルールを守って利用しましょう。水泳帽の着用が必要な場合があるので持参をおすすめします。
Tips
There is parking, but spaces are limited, so public transport is reassuring. The adventure playground is divided into areas for younger and older children. To avoid working up too much of a sweat before the pool, play with breaks in between.
