About this spot

A large park not far from the Yokohama International Pool, where satoyama countryside scenery remains. The adventure playground is lined with large climbing structures where children can really move about. The grounds also include rice fields and a small stream, so you can feel nature while still in the city. It is just the right size for a warm-up before the pool, and simply running around the grassy hill delights children. On fine days, an unhurried walk along the paths is recommended too.

Tips

There is parking, but spaces are limited, so public transport is reassuring. The adventure playground is divided into areas for younger and older children. To avoid working up too much of a sweat before the pool, play with breaks in between.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. The cool morning hours are recommended for moving about comfortably
