Pray for a safe trip at the guardian shrine of Zushi
About this spot
A shrine on high ground just a short walk from Zushi Station, long cherished as the guardian shrine of Zushi. Climb the stone steps and calm, composed precincts open up, and once you have paid your respects you can head to the sea with the day's safety already prayed for. From the precincts there is also a view over the streets of Zushi, a place that builds anticipation for the day ahead.
Tips
It is about a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Zushi Station. There are stone steps, so with a stroller it is reassuring to check the detour route in advance. In summer, do not forget a hat and plenty to drink.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes. The morning is relatively calm for paying your respects
